Overview
Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is a horror point-and-click simulation game published by Clickteam USA LLC. It is the third installment in the Freddy Games series. The game's story takes place thirty years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed. The owners of a horror attraction set out to find something that might have survived the devastation of decades ago, and are determined to revive the pizzeria's horror lore. This is to make the experience of customers who go there as authentic as possible.
Unlike the previous game, Five Nights at Freddy's 3 has only one real animatronic, the deadly Springtrap, which will gradually move to the player's position through the vent or the ground, and the only way for the player to protect themselves is to close the ventilation mouth or play recordings to draw Springtrap to other rooms. In addition, there are phantoms of animatronic animals from the previous game, such as Foxy, Puppet, and Freddy. Unlike real animatronics, they only appear in the player's camera to scare the player and take one of their systems offline, but they don't attack the player.
Gameplay
In the game, the player acts as a security guard and confronts the roaming animatronics named Springtrap in the halls of the horror attraction. Players need to survive five horror nights to win. The player's player can control the camera, audio and ventilation functions at any time. Additionally, players can now toggle the security camera without worrying about it running out of battery.
► Players will need to keep an eye on Springtrap's whereabouts through surveillance security cameras during the game, or the situation will quickly descend into complete chaos.
► Springtrap constantly shuts down various systems for the player. Players will need to remain vigilant of being attacked, as the animatronics will lose sight in the process, and restarting the system will take a long time.
► Lights can be turned on to reveal hidden animatronics, or the door of a safe room can be locked to prevent them from entering.
► The game contains a lot of fear and intrigue, and players need to maintain patience and composure.
► Don't be swayed and fooled by the apparitions of other animatronics.
► The player can close the ventilation shaft to prevent the Springtrap from jumping on the player, or play audio in the currently monitored room to distract it.

Launched in March 2015, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 was developed and published by U.S. video game developer Scott Cawthon. As the third installment to the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, the game is much like its predecessor while having developed many other unique elements at the same time. In this survival horror game, players will act the safeguard people named Jeremy Fitzgerald and will have to defend themselves against the animatronic characters. Players will need to survive five nights with each night lasting from 12 am to 2 am in the morning, which equals around 7 minutes in real-time. Players will be staying in the security guard's office and are provided with two cameras to watch out for the movements of their enemies (called “Springtrap” in the game). One of the two cameras covers the rooms and corridors throughout the facility, and the other covers the ventilation ductwork. Unlike the first two installments, only one of the characters will attack players and end the game, while the other characters exist in the form of “Phantom” and can only disturb or hinder the players to survive the night by jump scaring them. Players need to stay alert and point and click quickly to avoid attack or jump scaring from the characters. Players are able to seal off the vents at a certain time point but to block the “Springtap” from advancing to the office, but the road to the office and the vents remain open permanently. Players are also provided with a set of voice machines, which can keep the “Springtap” away from the office or the players’ position.
I kind of like the game for its fantastic atmosphere design. The story and the graphic design are quite simple with only a few scenes but are enough to create a tense environment. The gloomy camera and unclear view can bring you a horror-movie-like experience with a surprising jump scare from the “Springtap” with horrifying smiles on their face. If you are a fan of a horror movie or horror game, you will definitely love this one. Like the previous two installments, the design of the phone guy is also essential to further enhance the horror experience as players can only hear the strange language with the low voice and will never see his face.
The game becomes more difficult compared to the previous two installments of the game series. Players will no longer have lights, and the office will be open without a door. And players will have to stay alert when utilizing the maintenance panel and reboot any system which goes offline as early as possible to avoid potential attack or jump scare from the “Springtap”. Like the previous two installments from the series, players need to check and switch the cameras very quickly as the “Springtap” cannot move when the camera is in.
One of the highlights of the game is that there are always different strategies to be discovered by players, depending on how you understand the game, the story, and the mechanism behind all these. For example, if the “Springtap” is nowhere to be found, it is highly likely in the vent so check the vent camera as soon as possible. Players also need to understand the settings of different “phantoms.” The phantom Mangle will firstly show up at the night 2 and will appear only at camera 04, which shows the corner of the two hallways. Phantom Chica, Phantom Freddy, and Phantom Foxy will become active from night 3, and the phantoms will appear more frequently night by night. One of the best strategies is using the audio to lure the “Springtap” and keep bringing it to rooms that are away from the players.
