Five Nights at Freddy’s HW is the eighth game in the franchise. This game consists of 50 different small games which are quite different from the previous generation. A lot of the mini-games recreate the previous series of games. You will still have to be prepared for familiar old circumstances and want out for yourself. You will have to be ready for horror and surprise to play!

This game is still kid/teenage-friendly. It’s interesting but at the same time not that frightening as well. You can access this game through VR headsets which are completely new in the series. It’s quite easy to get the hang of it. You are still in the same old pizza place trying to survive 5 nights and you can still access the surveillance camera and all the other tools trying your best to avoid jump scare and survive. The chills you got from this game will make you feel like you are being attacked in real life, so always be careful.

Let’s talk about the pros of this game. The major factor in making Five Nights at Freddy’s such a great game is the great pacing and how the developers develop how scares are delivered. The tenser the atmosphere gets, you will become more fearful which makes a horror of jump scare, a vicious cycle for the players. The VR headset brought up a different of scares because you are not clicking on your phone or your keyboard anymore. This is legit 3D, so you will feel like you live in that space which makes it more realistic. This game is also wildly popular and full of positive reviews. The developing team did a good job of tracking the head movement and setting up the right environment and the movement sensor with sound effects making the new generation of Five Nights at Freddy’s really at its highest level. Also, the depreciation of VR headsets makes players easier to get to explore the VR worlds as they always wanted.

But I want to point out the cons of this game as well. VR the best way to explore Five Night’s at Freddy’s? As a previous VR user, I got frequently headaches from using a VR headset Non-stop for 30 mins. I’m afraid that this game with its intense paste and horror effects will strike me out maybe even in 15 minutes. I might just feel dizzy and obnoxious since VR is not for everyone to put on for a long time without feeling sick. You have to do a lot of tasks over and over again in the VR headset when you fail or die which can make the process less enjoyable more like suffering. This is not brain-friendly and I can feel overwhelmed by it. It’s really difficult for me who can even get dizzy on a driving VR simulator so it’s hard to keep playing if I just kept failing or dying. And that leads to a problem. If I choose to play it on Sundays only, and next week I will have to redo some missions and maybe forget about the right way of doing it which makes it even harder for me to pass.

In conclusion, I like the ideas and designs of the game, but I feel like I would rather try out this game when a VR headset can completely feel like it's in real life. I still recommend people to try it especially if you are the fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s because it spikes up the new elements and understanding of horror and the tenseness of the generation!
